Play Smash Fest Tips & Tricks

These 20 Smash Fest tips turn trial-and-error shots into repeatable physics plans. Start with the structure, not the nearest target: a well-placed opening shot can remove several objectives and leave you enough ammunition to clean up the rest.

1–5: Read the structure first

  • Find the lowest shared support before aiming at a tower or arch.
  • Look for the side with the shortest open path to the table edge.
  • Notice which heavy object becomes dangerous when its base moves.
  • Open a lane through the middle when a wall blocks later shots.
  • Choose a first target that leaves the fewest isolated objects behind.

6–10: Save cannonballs

  • Wait for all moving pieces to settle before you spend another ball.
  • Keep one ball for a cleanup target that will not join the main collapse.
  • Do not chase a rolling can until you know whether it will leave the table.
  • Replay a clear with a smaller shot plan instead of relying on a lucky bounce.
  • Use the par target as a guide, then prioritize a reliable clear over a risky shortcut.

11–15: Use material physics

  • Hit glass near a stack to start a controlled chain reaction.
  • Push tin toward an edge; it is a rolling target, not a fragile one.
  • Remove wood beams that carry weight before shooting objects resting on them.
  • Let a falling stone strike lower targets instead of trying to move it directly.
  • Use a broken glass gap to make a clear follow-up angle through the structure.

16–20: Finish difficult levels

  • Work from the weak side of a pyramid so the fall moves inward.
  • For split towers, start a cascade where one falling object can cross the gap.
  • On arches and bridges, test the central support before spending shots on the top.
  • If debris blocks your aim, use a shallow side angle rather than forcing a direct shot.
  • After a win, review the walkthrough for the physics principle, then apply it yourself on the next level.
